Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter & Pump

Intex Sand Filter & Pump is also known as the Intex Krystal Clear system. This is a great pump for your above-ground swimming pool, this is the 16′ sand filter model that cleans about 3,100 gph. I am currently using this sand filter and pump with my 22 x 52 Coleman swimming pool, and I can say that it’s doing a great job cleaning my huge swimming pool.

Last year I purchased another sand filter kit for this same pool, only to find out that it’s no longer working and I needed to replace the system. I was not keen on purchasing an Intex Sand Filter & Pump because of all the negative talk about Intex products. Interested in other sand filter made by Xtreme Power, they are another brand to consider when needing to filter your swimming pool.

I can say that this sand filter pump is worth it, once I took it out of the box and hooked it up to my swimming pool it cleaned very well. My previous pump and sand filter made by Xtreme Power just went out. Thankfully I came across this pump and sand filter because my filter system went out, and my swimming pool was starting to get really dirty.

You can see from the video that my swimming pool was really dirty, so I let the filtration system work overtime for about 4 days to clean up all the dirt. In the four days my pool was getting cleaned, I put in the aqua critter to clean up all the dirt that had fallen down to the floor of the pool.
